About this nanny job

We’re a warm family in the Ross area looking for a reliable, proactive, experienced, and flexible nanny to support our growing family. We have a fun, active 2.5-year-old son, Cameron, who will begin preschool in August (8am-3pm), and we’re expecting baby #2 in September 2026. We are looking for care 3 days / week to start, and moving to full time when I return to work in January. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable supporting both toddler care and eventually newborn/infant care as our family transitions this fall. The right person is nurturing, organized, dependable, and enjoys engaging young children in thoughtful, age-appropriate ways. Responsibilities include: - Providing safe, attentive care for Cameron and Baby #2, once baby arrives - Driving to preschool, activities, and local outings - Preparing healthy meals/snacks - Supporting emotional, social, and educational development through age-appropriate activities, play, and outings - Basic housekeeping (tidying play areas, laundry, cleaning up meals, emptying dishwasher, organizing toys/children’s items, clothes rotation) - Helping maintain a calm, structured daily routine Requirements: - Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle for transporting children - Comfortable driving children locally on a regular basis - CPR certified - Up to date on vaccinations - Prior experience with both infants/newborns and toddlers strongly preferred Bonus if you’re open to occasional evening/weekend help and interested in a role that could expand into more hours over time.
