Caregiver San Francisco | Potrero Hill Sundays 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM | $120/morning Beginning August 9th I oversee the children's ministry for a small, warm church community in the Potrero Hill area of San Francisco looking for an experienced, caring assistant to help with our kids on Sunday mornings. This is a great fit for someone who loves working with young children, is comfortable with babies through preschoolers, and can lend a hand with elementary-age kids when needed. SCHEDULE Sundays, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM COMPENSATION: $120 flat rate per morning Payment paid over the table (a 1099 will be issued per IRS requirements) ABOUT THE ROLE: You'll serve as an extra set of hands supporting our primary kids' leader in the toddler/preschool room, which typically has 5–7 children ranging from 6 months to 4 years old (the total number of children varies from week to week). You'll also be asked to help out in our elementary room as needed, moving between the two rooms to cover wherever there's a need. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Support the lead volunteer with play, activities, and general help - Help younger children feel comfortable and safe, especially those away from a parent for the first time - Pass out snacks and help with cleanup - Clean and disinfect toys after use - Help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for all children - Flex between the toddler/preschool and elementary rooms as needed REQUIREMENTS: - Fluent in English - Legally authorized to work in the United States - Warm, friendly, and experienced watching groups of children - Comfortable with a wide age range, from infants through elementary-age kids - Patient, adaptable, and calm under pressure - Current First Aid certification - Willingness to complete a Live Scan background check - References required If interested please reply to the screening questions, and I’ll schedule a call to meet and chat more.
