Warm, Engaging Nanny Needed for Sweet 2-Year-Old in Orinda (1-Year+ Commitment) About Us: We are a warm, active family looking for an empathic and loving nanny to join us for at least the next year. Both parents work in healthcare and as university faculty, primarily from our home offices. We deeply value the outdoors, creativity, and raising respectful, well-rounded children. About the Children: Your primary focus will be our sweet, good-natured 2-year-old daughter. She is an absolute joy, loves art and outdoor time, and bonds easily with caregivers. She still takes afternoon naps and is midway through potty training. She has a 6-year-old sister whom she adores. The 6-year-old is in school full-time, so you will only occasionally care for both girls (e.g., school holidays like President’s Day). What We Are Looking For: We are seeking someone who is communicative, adaptable, and responsive to feedback. Our ideal caregiver loves the outdoors and will encourage our daughter's curiosity. Responsibilities: Primary daily childcare for our 2-year-old (and occasional holiday care for our 6-year-old). Taking our toddler on daily outings to local parks. Supervising afternoon rest/nap times. Preparing daily meals and snacks for the children. Supporting our ongoing potty training efforts. Light, child-related housework as time allows (children's laundry, cleaning up toys, wiping down after meals). Requirements: Prior experience with toddlers and a loving, patient approach. Current CPR and First Aid certification. TrustLine registered or willing to register upon hire (we cover application fees). Comfortable with parents working from home (we have dedicated offices and respect your role!). Minimum 1-year commitment.Nanny job details
