About this nanny job
I’m looking for someone I’d love to build an ongoing relationship with—not just for one-time babysitting, but as someone I can rely on regularly. Whether it’s for a date night, dinner with friends, appointments, or occasional weekend help, I’d love to find the right person for my daughter, Sophia. Most babysitting jobs are very easygoing. My daughter is 7 years old, independent, fun, and loves arts and crafts, swimming, soccer, and being outdoors. Most of the time you’ll simply be hanging out with her doing crafts, playing games, or watching a movie. If I’m going out to dinner, I’ll usually have dinner already prepared, homework done if needed, and her bedtime routine taken care of. Many evenings will simply involve putting her to bed and relaxing on the couch watching Netflix until I get home. I’ll be out of town from July 17–27 on a family cruise. My daughter will be with her father, whom I co-parent with. Occasionally his work or travel schedule can change unexpectedly, so I’d love to have a trusted backup sitter I can call if plans change at the last minute and I need help with an overnight, school pickup, or a few days of care. My hope is to find someone I can continue to use for date nights, appointments, and future childcare needs as well. I’m hoping to start meeting and interviewing candidates this Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Reliability, kindness, and great communication are the qualities I value most.
