About this nanny job

Looking for a full time nanny for two boys aged 7 months and 2.5 years (currently - older by the time the job starts). Care primarily at 504 East 63rd St. Day would start ~8:30 am and end at ~5:30 pm (somewhat flexible on start time, any time between 8-9 am) totaling 9 hours/day 5 days a week. Pass off either to our PM nanny (M-W) or to a parent/grandparent (Th-F). Days would include: 1. Keeping kids on age-appropriate schedule (2.5 year old naps x1/d, 7 month old naps 2-3x/d) 2. Increasing solid intake in the 7 month old 3. Assistance potty training the 2.5 year old 4. Bringing kids to planned activities within walking distance (music class, art class), association playground/play area. Ultimately as we trust you more, taking them out to central park, library, etc 5. Preparing simple meals for the kids 6. Cleaning up after the kids 7. Age-appropriate activities/lessons (e.g. the 2.5 knows how to read, would like him to continue to learn more and more words) 8. Diaper change at least once every 3 hours or when soiled (#2) The older child has nut allergies (anaphylaxis) and the younger one is being exposed to nuts - must be meticulous and knowledgeable with food safety and identifying allergic reactions, be able to administer epi pen, and be CPR certified. Pay is $40/h for 2 kids in cash. 2 weeks PTO (accrued monthly), one coordinated with family and one of your own choosing. Family will be gone an additional 1-2 weeks. Paid sick days and holidays. We would want to have a paid trial prior to signing contract.
