About this nanny job

We’re looking for a warm, playful, and dependable caregiver to help care for our two young children starting Monday, July 20th. We’re hoping to find someone who is interested in a consistent, longer-term Monday schedule, ideally continuing beyond the initial months. Schedule: Mondays, 9:15am–5:00pm Starting August 7th (when school starts), our regular schedule will be: - Care for our 18-month-old daughter during the day - Care for our 4-year-old son after TK pickup at 3:00pm until 5:00pm - Before school starts, you’ll primarily care for both children during the day (our son may have a half-day camp during this period). About our kids: Our 4-year-old son is energetic, curious, and very talkative. He loves pretend play, especially with cars, trains, trucks, and all kinds of vehicles, and he really enjoys a caregiver who will get involved and build imaginative worlds with him. He’s enthusiastic, expressive, and loves close interaction with adults. He is also still learning how to share adult attention with his younger sister, so he does best with someone who can help him feel connected while gently supporting positive sibling dynamics. Our 18-month-old daughter is sweet, silly, and very active. She loves exploring and can play independently at times, but she is currently going through some separation anxiety from mom, so we’re looking for someone who is patient, nurturing, and comfortable helping her feel secure and build a relationship over time. We’re looking for someone who is: Warm, engaging, and playful Comfortable with lots of imaginative/pretend play Confident managing two young children at once Patient, responsive, and emotionally attuned Reliable and communicative Able to balance fun and silliness with responsibility and good judgment Responsibilities include: Playing with and engaging both children Diaper changes for the toddler Serving snacks and lunch (parents will prepare the food) Toddler nap routine Helping with transitions and routines Keeping both kids safe, happy, and engaged Parents will prepare lunch for the children and handle TK pickup. We also have cats in the home, so comfort around pets is important. We’d love to find someone who enjoys being active, creative, and playful with young children and who is looking for a steady Monday opportunity. We look forward to hearing from you!
