Part-Time Nanny & Family Helper Location: San Francisco, CA (Pacific Heights) We are a warm, busy family with two working parents (out of the home ~90% of the time) and two wonderful daughters (ages 4 and 7). We're looking for an organized, proactive nanny/family helper who loves children and enjoys helping a household run smoothly. This is an ideal role for someone who takes initiative, notices what needs to be done without being asked, and enjoys balancing childcare with light household management. Schedule: ~34 hours/week • Mon–Fri: 2:00–7:00 pm (25 hours) • Tue & Fri: 8:00 am–12:30 pm (9 hours) Note: schedule may shift slightly based on variable school days. Family open to split schedule. Childcare • Our 4-year-old attends preschool 12:00–3:00 pm, Monday–Friday • She also attends a morning enrichment program Mon/Wed/Thu (8:30/9:00 am starts), with direct transport to preschool • On Tuesdays and Fridays, she's home in the morning — this includes caring for her, planning age-appropriate activities, and getting her ready for a noon preschool drop-off Responsibilities • Safe transport to/from all programs and preschool (using our family Jeep — gas covered by us) • Pickup and engaging activities after preschool • Help with occasional appointments/activities as needed • Pickup of our 7-year-old from elementary school (4:30–5:00 pm) and evening transition support for both girls • Keeping our ~2,400 sq ft apartment neat, organized, and guest-ready • Laundry: washing, folding, ironing, putting away • Organizing closets, toys, pantry, and children's belongings • Light housekeeping (tidying kitchen, making beds, dishwasher, counters, common areas) — we have professional cleaners for deep cleaning • Grocery shopping and household errands; household inventory/restocking (pantry, toiletries, supplies) and communication with House Manager • Package returns, post office runs, misc. errands • Simple meal prep (washing/chopping veggies, prepping ingredients, assembling lunches, starting dinner) — no full cooking required • Keeping backpacks, lunches, school supplies, and activity items organized We're Looking For Someone Who Is • 3+ years of professional nanny/childcare experience • CPR and First Aid certified • A reliable driver, comfortable lifting children in/out of our Jeep (family car provided, gas covered) • Exceptionally reliable and punctual • Naturally proactive — sees what needs to be done before being asked • Organized and detail-orientedNanny job details
