About this nanny job

We are looking for a warm, dependable, and engaging nanny/caregiver to care for our two grandchildren in our home. Our grandson is almost 2 years old (turning 2 in September) and is active, curious, playful, and developing language quickly. His baby sister is 6 months old and has a sweet, easygoing temperament. We are seeking care approximately 3–4 days per week (possibly up to 5 days initially), generally for full-day shifts beginning in the morning and ending in the late afternoon (approximately 7:00/8:00 am to 4:00/5:00 pm). The exact schedule will be discussed with the right candidate as our family’s work schedule becomes established. We are looking for someone who is: • Warm, patient, kind, and nurturing • Reliable, responsible, and punctual • Energetic and enjoys actively engaging with young children • Experienced caring for infants and toddlers • Comfortable reading books, singing songs, talking throughout the day, and encouraging learning through play • Enjoys spending time outdoors—taking walks, visiting the neighborhood park, exploring nature, and supporting age-appropriate outdoor play and discovery • Safety-minded, attentive, and dependable • A non-smoker with reliable transportation (CPR/First Aid certification is a plus) Initially, there will be several paid shadow days to help everyone become comfortable. Care will take place in our home, where Grandma works remotely and will be available for support during the transition. Our goal is to create a smooth, comfortable adjustment for both the children and their caregiver before moving toward greater independence. We are looking for someone who is interested in becoming a trusted, consistent part of our family’s routine and who will provide a safe, loving, and enriching environment for our little ones.
