About this nanny job

Hello! We are looking for a warm, dependable sitter who enjoys working with babies. Our daughter, Ruth, is currently 3.5 months old. The ideal candidate would have experience caring for infants and be up to date on vaccinations. I am a high school teacher in the Bronx and my husband, Conor, is a social worker in Manhattan. Our apartment building, right near Fordham Plaza, is a modern, spacious building with an elevator, balcony and lounge. Initially, we’d love to meet for an interview and then have the sitter spend time with Ruth in our home twice a week while I am also home. This would allow everyone to get comfortable with one another and would give the sitter the opportunity to learn Ruth’s routines before we ask for independent caregiving. Once onboarded, we are hoping to start with 4-8 hours per week during August (spread over two afternoons), with the possibility of additional hours for occasional date nights and appointments. Our hope is that this can be the beginning of a relationship between you and our little family in the months to come! :)
