Reliable Nanny + Driver Needed Daily: Encinitas to Pacific Beach School Commute Job Description Seeking a safe, responsible nanny with an immaculate driving record to handle a daily morning school drop-off and afternoon pick-up routine for our 5-year-old child for 3-4 days per week. Our child attends Barnard Mandarin Magnet Elementary School located at 2445 Fogg St, San Diego, CA 92109 (Pacific Beach). The commute is approximately 23 miles each way from our home in Encinitas. Schedule Details: * Days: Monday through Friday (following the school calendar). * Morning Commute: Pick up in Encinitas around 7:10 AM, drop off at school by 745 AM. * Afternoon Commute: Pick up from school at 315 PM (1:15 PM on minimum days/Wednesdays), bring back to Encinitas. * Note: We are open to hiring separate caregivers for the morning vs. afternoon shift, or one person who can handle both blocks of time. Responsibilities: * Safely transport a 5-year-old using your own reliable, well-maintained vehicle. * Properly secure the child in a provided forward-facing 5-point harness car seat. * Walk our child completely into the school gate/classroom line during drop-off and physically check them out with staff at pick-up. * Provide a brief update via text once drop-off and pick-up are safely completed. * Light after school care. Requirements: * Age: Must be 21+ with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience. * Driving Record: Completely clean DMV record (background check and driving record check required via UrbanSitter). * Vehicle: Reliable, insured vehicle capable of safely holding a child car seat. * Experience: Prior experience caring for or transporting young children preferred. * Non-smoker, reliable, and punctual. Compensation: * Hourly Rate: $23.00 – $25.00 / hour (guaranteed minimum hours per shift). * Gas/Mileage: Full IRS standard mileage reimbursement provided for all miles driven with the child or on the commute route.Nanny job details
