We are seeking a dedicated, patient, and highly organized Nanny/Educational Assistant to support our family of two boys. As a working mom with a demanding schedule in sterile processing, I am looking for a partner in care who can maintain structure, foster a love of learning through homeschooling, and provide specialized support for my high-functioning autistic son. This role will involve travel and requires someone who is adaptable, proactive, and committed to creating a sensory-friendly, nurturing environment. ​Homeschooling Support: Facilitate daily curriculum, assist with lessons, and find creative ways to keep the boys engaged and learning. ​Specialized Care: Provide one-on-one attention for our neurodivergent son, including reinforcing social skills, maintaining sensory-friendly routines, and implementing strategies provided by his therapists. ​Travel Management: Accompany the family on travel, ensuring routines, education, and comfort remain consistent regardless of our location. ​Daily Routine Management: Manage daily schedules, including meal preparation, hygiene, and extracurricular activities. ​Child-Related Household Management: Maintain tidy play and learning spaces, organize educational materials, and handle children’s laundry. ​Safety & Wellness: Maintain a safe environment, monitor health/well-being, and communicate regularly with me about progress, challenges, and successes. Experience: 3+ years of professional nanny or childcare experience, with specific experience supporting neurodivergent children (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and/or homeschooling/governess roles. ​Skills: ​Strong understanding of neurodiversity-affirming care (e.g., sensory regulation, visual schedules, patience with transitions). ​Educational background or experience with homeschooling curriculum. ​Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with parents and potential outside therapists. ​Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid certification required. ​Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel with the family for extended periods. Must have a valid passport (if applicable) and a clean driving record. ​Personality: Patient, proactive, creative, and highly organized. A "team-player" mindset who can step in where needed.
