About this nanny job

We're looking for a house manager/nanny for 20-25 hours/week. Core hours are Monday–Thursday 3:00-6:30pm & Friday 3:00-5:00pm, and there’s flexibility about what additional hours are worked to total 20-25 hours per week. Half the time is caring for our kids—an 8-year-old boy and 13-year-old girl—including after-school supervision, homework help, and driving to activities. The other half is household support: laundry for the whole family, cooking family dinners, and light cleaning. Heavy cleaning (bathrooms, etc.) isn't required, but we're open to adding hours and pay for someone willing to do that too. We also have two nice cats. Requirements: authorized to work in the U.S., own car, comfortable driving kids to activities, prior experience with school-age kids or household management preferred. We pay with direct deposit through a payroll service, which withholds income taxes as required by law. We're a warm family looking for someone reliable, communicative, and fun who wants a long-term role. Start date: immediate.
