About this nanny job

We are a family living in Capitol Hill looking for temporary child care for our 3.5-year-old son during his summer break. Schedule: August 3 – August 25 (weekdays only), 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Our son is energetic, curious, and full of personality! We’re looking for someone with experience caring for toddlers who genuinely enjoys this age and understands how to engage them in a fun and patient way. Our priority is providing a safe, nurturing environment where he can play, learn, and explore. We’d love someone who will actively engage with him through books, toys, puzzles, arts and crafts, imaginative play, walks to the library, and outdoor time at the playground, not just to supervise him, but enjoy interacting with him throughout the day. Responsibilities include: * Keeping him safe at all times is our highest priority * Preparing simple snacks * Assisting with potty needs as needed * Engaging him in play and learning activities * Taking him to the neighborhood playground and outdoor activities when weather permits We’re hoping to find someone who is warm, loving, friendly, dependable, patient, and confident caring for active toddlers.
