🌟 Nanny Wanted – Newport Beach, CA We're an active family of five in Newport Beach looking for a wonderful nanny to join our household! We have three kids — ages 8, 6, and 4 — and a friendly dog. We'd love to find someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and feels at home being a caring, energetic presence in our family's daily life. Mom works from home, but we're looking for someone who can confidently take the lead with the kids each afternoon. The Position: -- 25-30 hours per week depending on your preference -- Hours: 12:00–6:00 PM or 1:00–6:00 PM Monday through Friday -- Occasional weeknight or weekend babysitting is a bonus but not required What You'll Be Doing -- Picking up kids from school and shuttling them to afternoon activities -- Taking kids to the park and engaging them in outdoor time -- Reading to the kids and keeping afternoons engaging and enriching -- Handling kids' laundry daily -- Tidying up after the kids and keeping their rooms and play areas clean and organized -- Preparing simple, healthy snacks and dinners for the kids -- Helping out with our dog from time to time (i.e., taking kids and dog on a walk around the block) We're hoping to find someone who is genuinely proactive and takes initiative. You'll thrive in this role if you're: -- Warm, patient, and energetic with kids of different ages -- Organized and tidy and take pride in keeping a clean, calm space -- A self-starter who brings positive energy and good ideas -- Reliable and communicative Requirements: -- Valid California driver's license and a clean driving record (you'll be doing school pickups and activity drop-offs) -- Prior experience with children (references appreciated!) -- Comfortable around dogs Pay is commensurate with experience.
