We're a warm, active family seeking an excellent, passionate live-in au pair who genuinely loves children and takes pride in creating a nurturing home. This is a full-time, live-in position with hours based on family needs — you must be available and LIVE-IN on weekends. Responsibilities include attentive, engaged childcare (playtime, outings, homework help, school pickups/drop-offs as needed), planning and preparing healthy meals for the children and occasionally the family, light housekeeping related to the children's spaces (laundry, tidying playrooms and bedrooms, keeping the kitchen and common areas neat), and supporting daily routines like bedtime, mealtimes, and activities. Occasional family travel may be involved. We're looking for someone with genuine experience caring for children (professional or extensive family experience), who is patient, energetic, and proactive. Strong cooking skills are important. We also want someone who keeps a clean, organized space and treats our home with care, is reliable and trustworthy. A valid driver's license is helpful, though not required, and CPR/First Aid certification is a plus. References and a background check are required. We offer a private bedroom in our home (on the UES in Manhattan), a competitive weekly stipend, meals provided, and a supportive, respectful family environment where you're treated as part of the household.
