I am a Care Coach with Cariloop, an approved UrbanSitter partner, looking to fulfill a part-time Child Care job for a family on UrbanSitter with the following need: Part-Time After-School Nanny Needed, Brighton, MA area, 9-Year-Old We're looking for a dependable, patient, and caring nanny to join our family and help with our after-school and evening routine. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, is comfortable helping with light household tasks, and is looking for a consistent weekday schedule. Schedule Monday-Friday 4:00 PM-8:30 PM (occasionally until 9:30 PM) About Our Family We're looking for someone who is understanding, patient, and either has experience supporting children with special needs or is eager to learn and be trained in strategies that work well for them. We also have two older children (ages 12 and 14) who are independent and do not require supervision. They will join family meals, but your childcare responsibilities will be focused on the 9-year-old. Responsibilities Provide after-school care and supervision for our 9-year-old Prepare dinner for the family Clean up the kitchen and dishes after meals Tidy common living areas at the end of the day Assist with homework, play, and evening routines Occasionally provide transportation to appointments or activities We're Looking For Someone Who Is Patient, dependable, and nurturing Comfortable supporting a child with special needs CPR and First Aid Certified Open to learning and implementing individualized behavioral strategies Has a valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred) Willing to complete a state background check Comfortable being paid legally through payroll (taxes withheld) If you're looking for a meaningful part-time position, we'd love to hear from you!
