About this nanny job
Regular supervised parenting support - experienced caregiver - $50 / hour I'm a father of two (2 and 5) looking for an experienced caregiver to be the second adult present during my parenting time, for some or all of these regular times: 1) Mondays 5pm to 7pm - pickup and dinner with my 2 year old, Stonestown to Castro, your dinner is included 2) Wednesdays 5pm to 7pm - pickup and dinner with my 5 year old, Stonestown to Castro, your dinner is included 3) Saturdays 9am to 12pm - library and park time with my 5 year old around the Castro 4) Sundays 12pm to 4pm - reading and naptime with my 2 year old in the Castro All locations are on Muni — the M runs straight from Stonestown to Castro. No driving required. This isn't standard babysitting. I'm going through a divorce, and recently at times I've been overwhelmed and sadly at times violent, especially when solo parenting both kids. While I'm working on this in therapy, I will have my kids one at a time, and with an experienced caregiver present - you. You'd be able to take over care entirely if I step out, and be comfortable saying directly if you think I should take a break. A family counselor oversees this arrangement and reviews anyone who takes the role. You're welcome to chat with her before you decide. Looking for: - Substantial experience with toddlers and young children — nanny, preschool, family support, social work - Steady and direct - Mandarin a plus — my son speaks mostly Chinese I'll pay for an initial meeting whether or not we proceed.Nanny job details
