I'm a single working dad looking for a reliable, organized nanny to help care for my two kids (ages 5 and 9) and keep the household running smoothly Monday - Wednesday. Must be okay with a cat in the home. This is a part-time role, roughly three days a week, and I'm happy to be flexible on the exact schedule for the right person. ## What you'll do Get both kids to and from school in Marin, leaving the house at 7:15 AM and picking them up at 3:00 PM. Kids will likely also have extracurriculars after school. The role is based in San Francisco, so expect a regular commute to Marin for the school runs and the kids' extracurricular activities. A car can be provided. During school hours (Monday & Tuesday). While the kids are in school, I'll ask you to run errands and possibly take care of simple household tasks — laundry, tidying up, and general light upkeep around the house. On occasion when time permits I’ll ask you to prepare dinner on Mondays and Tuesdays. I can manage dinner on days when extracurricular activities interfere with timing. ## Schedule Monday & Tuesday — Full days. Pack lunch, morning school drop-off, errands, light household chores, afternoon school pickup, extracurriculars or dinner prep. Wednesday — pack lunch, morning school drop-off. No meal prep, and no need to stick around once the car is returned. I'm flexible on the specifics for the right match. ## Who I’m looking for - Dependable and punctual — the morning and afternoon school runs are the anchor of the day - Comfortable and confident driving kids between San Francisco and Marin, including to school and extracurriculars - Self-directed and organized enough to handle errands and household tasks independently - Warm and engaged with kids ages 5 and 9 - Comfortable with light meal prep If this sounds like a fit, I'd love to hear from you.
