My wife and I are looking for an experienced part-time nanny / mother's helper to help care for our newborn son, Teo, beginning August 10, 2026. Schedule 3–4 days per week 12:00 PM – 6:30 PM Days may vary slightly depending on my work-from-home schedule. Location West Los Angeles (Wilshire Blvd/Selby Ave area) About the role Our son will be 1 month old, so we're looking for someone who has significant newborn experience and is comfortable supporting both baby and mom during the newborn stage. Responsibilities include: Caring for our newborn while Mom rests or showers Assisting with breastfeeding support (knowledge of newborn feeding cues and handling breast milk is a plus) Diaper changes, soothing, burping, swaddling, and general newborn care Light housekeeping related to Mom and baby (laundry, bottles/pump parts, tidying nursery, etc.) Simple meal prep/snacks for Mom Occasional errands (grocery store, pharmacy, etc.) Helping create a calm, supportive home environment during the day We're looking for someone who: Has experience caring for newborns (0–3 months) Is patient, dependable, and warm Is comfortable working alongside a breastfeeding mother Has excellent references Is CPR/First Aid certified (preferred) Is up to date on recommended vaccinations Has reliable transportation
