About this nanny job

We're looking for a kind, dependable, and energetic after-school helper to become part of our family's routine! Schedule: Our two children need to be picked up from school in Dana Point at 3:00 PM on weekdays. Typical responsibilities include: Driving the kids home safely Preparing a healthy after-school snack Helping with homework Driving to occasional sports or activities Keeping the afternoon calm, organized, and fun The position is generally Monday–Friday from approximately 3:00–6:00 PM, although there may be occasional opportunities for additional hours. We also have two wonderful dogs—a gentle Newfoundland and a sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniel—so we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys dogs and is comfortable having them around. A little about us: We're a relaxed, easygoing family who values kindness, reliability, healthy living, time outdoors, and creating a warm home environment. My husband is a firefighter, and I work in a hospital, so our schedules vary. Because of my husband's shift schedule, some weeks may differ, but we receive his schedule well in advance. We'd love to find someone who has a bit of flexibility, and we're happy to discuss a guaranteed minimum number of hours for the right person.
