Looking for an energetic and engaging helper for a week of children's educational activities from August 4–7! It will be for most of the school day on each day of the week. Ideally looking for one person for the entire week. This is a great opportunity for someone pursuing a degree in Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field who enjoys working with elementary-aged children. We're looking for someone who can commit to all four days and bring enthusiasm, confidence, and a positive attitude to a fun, hands-on learning environment. Responsibilities include: • Helping facilitate interactive educational activities • Leading small groups of children through hands-on learning stations • Giving brief, kid-friendly presentations (approximately 10–15 minutes at a time) • Encouraging participation and helping children stay engaged • Assisting with setup, organization, and cleanup throughout the day • Supporting children as they explore and learn through guided activities Ideal candidates: • Are comfortable speaking in front of groups of children • Have a positive, outgoing personality • Bring lots of energy and enthusiasm • Enjoy hands-on learning and interactive activities • Have experience working with children through babysitting, camps, tutoring, classrooms, after-school programs, or similar settings • Are dependable and able to commit to all four days This is not a traditional babysitting position. Rather than providing one-on-one care, you'll be helping guide educational activities and creating a fun, memorable experience for groups of children. I am looking for someone who enjoys being active, interacting with kids throughout the day, and helping create an engaging learning environment.
