Part-Time After-School Nanny / Family Assistant Location: Almaden, San Jose Schedule: Monday–Friday, every school day, typically 2:30–5:30pm or 3–6pm depending on school schedules and activities Hours: Approximately 15 guaranteed hours/week, more on weeks where there’s shortened school days or during school breaks Children: Ages 6 and 3 We’re looking for a warm, reliable after-school nanny / family assistant for our two children in Almaden, San Jose. Responsibilities include school/daycare pickup, snack prep, park or home play, helping keep the afternoon routine calm and fun, and light kid-related household help such as kids’ laundry, tidying toys/play areas, prepping backpacks, organising children’s items, and occasional family errands. Because the role involves driving children, we’re looking for someone with a valid driver’s licence, a clean driving record, no driving violations, and confidence driving children in the South Bay. We can provide our car and car seats. The ideal candidate is kind, dependable, proactive, safety-conscious, and experienced with preschool and elementary-aged children. Strong references required.
