About this nanny job

A little bit more about our family- I’m a nurse, and my husband works at an advertising agency in midtown, but we live in Hudson Yards/Hells Kitchen area. Our daughter, JJ, just turned 1 in June but is a sweetheart of fun, smiling energy. She’s a social butterfly so enjoys trips to the library play group, music class, and playground. She’s loves to dance and recently found her walking legs so is starting to love being “on the go!” The nanny position would include light cooking to put together breakfast/lunch, making pb&j, reheating leftovers etc. We’re looking for a warm, playful nanny- someone who is engaging and works with her to meet her next milestones! We’re aiming for a September 21st start date but have some flexibility with that. We’re looking to pay $3700 a month ($1,850 paid bi-weekly via Venmo) 8:30am- 5/5:30pm M-F. Position would include 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 paid sick or personal days, paid holidays, in addition to additional days off but paid if we’re WFH or out of town etc. In general we’re fairly flexible! Our ideal timeline is to search for candidates over the next 2-3 weeks then do virtual interviews mid August and select our final 2 or 3 candidates to come for a few hours of in person interaction with our daughter (paid of course :) ) and select our final - hopefully long term nanny from there!
