About this nanny job

We’re looking for a warm, dependable, and experienced caregiver to become part of our family’s routine. While we’re currently seeking care Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, there is a possibility that the position may become part-time (Thursdays and Fridays only). We’re happy to discuss either schedule with the right candidate. My husband and I both work in property management approximately 10 minutes from our home, so we’re always nearby if needed. We also come home during our lunch break each day, allowing us to spend a little time with our baby and giving you an opportunity to take a quick break. Responsibilities include: * Preparing and feeding bottles of expressed breast milk (we exclusively feed breast milk, except in emergency situations). * Diaper changes and following our baby’s nap schedule. * Engaging in age-appropriate developmental activities, including reading, talking, singing, tummy time, and interactive play. * Washing bottles and cleaning up any baby-related messes throughout the day. * Keeping us updated on how the day went and communicating any questions or concerns. We have a small, very friendly dog, as well as cats and a guinea pig. The cats stay outside, and the guinea pig remains safely in her enclosure, so pet care is not expected. However, we’re looking for someone who is comfortable being around animals. Our parenting style emphasizes responsive, engaged caregiving with limited screen time. We love reading books, talking and singing with our son, encouraging play and exploration, and occasionally enjoying Disney movies or sing-along YouTube videos together. We’re looking for someone who shares a similar approach and enjoys interacting with babies throughout the day. The ideal caregiver will have infant experience, be dependable, patient, nurturing, a non-smoker, comfortable with pets, and able to provide references. CPR and First Aid certification are preferred. Compensation is negotiable based on experience and the final schedule. We’re happy to discuss preferred rates and work together to find an arrangement that’s fair for everyone.
