Job Title: Reliable & Engaging Nanny for Two Active Children (Ages 9 & 6)Location: [Seattle, WA, Queen Anne]Position Type: Part-Time , 3:45 PM – 7:45 PM, Monday–Friday]Start Date: [08/10]About Our FamilyWe are looking for a reliable, energetic, and hands-on nanny to join our family and care for two wonderful children:9-year-old: Independent, self-driven, and manages schoolwork with minimal guidance.6-year-old (1st Grade): Creative and curious, but requires structured guidance, engagement, and extra support with school tasks.Punctuality, clear communication, and dependability are essential for our family's daily routine.Key ResponsibilitiesAfter-School Care & Pickups: Safely pick up both children from school and transport them home or to extracurricular activities.Homework Support: Provide patient, hands-on help with 1st-grade reading and homework, while encouraging the 9-year-old’s independent study habits.Child Engagement: Plan and participate in fun, age-appropriate, hands-on activities, screen-free playtime, and outdoor fun.Light Housekeeping: Help keep child-related areas clean and tidy (e.g., lunchbox cleanup, children's laundry, tidying up play areas, and light dinner prep or snack prep).Routine Management: Keep the kids on schedule for homework, snacks, activities, and evening routines.Qualifications & RequirementsExperience: Minimum [7] years of nanny or childcare experience, preferably working with early elementary and school-aged children.Reliability: Proven track record of strong punctuality and dependability.Education & Homework Skills: Patient and capable of assisting a 1st grader with basic foundational skills (reading, early math).Transportation: Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and reliable personal vehicle (or clean driving history for family vehicle use).Certifications: First Aid & CPR certified (or willing to obtain before start date).Background Check: Willingness to undergo a background check and provide references.Compensation & BenefitsHourly Rate: $[35.00] –$[42.00]/hour (commensurate with experience)Gas/Mileage Reimbursement: Y.Provided for school pickups and driving kids to activities.
