Afternoon Pick-Up/Driver and Caregiver Nanny (25-35 Hours/Week) Needed to Start 9/1 - Must Be Authorized to Work in US Location: McLean, VA Hi all! We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and proactive nanny to become an important part of our family! Our recently turned 2-year-old daughter will attend preschool part-time and we are looking for someone who can help keep our household running smoothly before picking her up and providing engaging, loving afternoon care. **Schedule • Monday-Friday 25-35 hours/week • 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m plus 8 am - 6 pm for preschool closures, teacher workdays, school holidays, snow days, and occasional sick days is strongly preferred and will be given priority during the hiring process. **Child-Related Household Duties (1:00-2:30 p.m.) While our daughter is at preschool, responsibilities include: • Child's laundry • Meal preparation for child • Empty and load dishwasher • Kitchen clean-up • Organize toys and play areas **Childcare Responsibilities (After Preschool Pick-Up) (2:30-6 p.m.) • Pick up child from preschool • Prepare and feed afternoon snack • Indoor and outdoor play, walks, and playground time • Library visits and age-appropriate outings • Educational and developmentally appropriate activities • Prepare dinner • Kitchen clean-up after meals • Assist with bath time as needed • Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment **Qualifications • Professional nanny experience with toddlers • Outstanding references • Reliable transportation and clean driving record -CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) -Up to date on annual flu vaccine and COVID booster (or willing to get) • Non-smoker • Authorized to work in the United States • Organized, dependable, proactive, and excellent communicator • Seeking a long-term position **Compensation & Benefits • Competitive hourly rate of $30–$32/hour based on experience and references • Guaranteed weekly hours • Payroll employment • Paid major holidays and 5 paid working days off If interested, please message me with your experience, availability for the start date and hours above, and reference info!
