Hi there! We are a family in San Jose looking for a reliable, engaging after-school tutor and nanny for our 5-year-old daughter starting Monday, August 17th. She is a bright, energetic kindergartener who loves reading, building, drawing, singing, and imaginative play. We are looking for someone who can manage the afternoon transition from school to home, keep her engaged with hands-on activities, and help establish a consistent afternoon routine. Schedule: Monday - Friday Base Hours: 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM Flexibility Needed: On certain days, we will need you to stay until 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM while her grandma picks up her older sister. We will coordinate these extended days with you in advance! Start Date: Monday, August 17, 2026 Responsibilities: Pick up our daughter from school at 1:00 PM (school is within walking distance from our home!). Provide a healthy afternoon snack. Engage in active, screen-free play (reading books, building, arts and crafts, singing). Light housekeeping related to the child (tidying play areas, cleaning up snack dishes). Requirements: Prior experience caring for kindergarten/early elementary-aged children. Reliable transportation to our home (no driving required during the shift).
