We’re a warm, loving family looking for a reliable, engaged mother’s helper to support us on weekends. We have a 21-month-old toddler and a 3-month-old baby, and we’re hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and wants to become a trusted, consistent part of our family’s support system. This role is ideal for someone who is nurturing, proactive, organized, and enjoys contributing wherever help is needed. We are usually home during these hours, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable working alongside us while also taking initiative and helping us create calmer, more enjoyable weekends. Responsibilities * Engage our toddler through age-appropriate, developmentally enriching play, reading, outdoor walks, crafts, music, and other activities. * Comfortably assist with infant care, including holding, feeding (bottle), diaper changes, soothing, and play as needed. * Support healthy routines while following our family’s parenting preferences. * Prepare simple, nutritious meals and snacks for our children and, when possible, cook family-friendly meals that can be enjoyed later in the week. We’d especially love someone who genuinely enjoys cooking. * Fold children’s laundry and assist with light household tasks (children’s dishes) * Light tidying of play areas, kitchen, and common spaces to help keep the home running smoothly. * Occasionally care for both children while one or both parents step out for a workout, coffee, errands, or a date. We’re Looking For Someone Who * Has experience caring for infants and toddlers. * Has a strong understanding of early childhood development and enjoys supporting children’s learning through play. * Is patient, warm, calm, and emotionally attuned. * Loves getting on the floor to play, read books, sing songs, and encourage curiosity. * Enjoys cooking and preparing wholesome meals for children and families. * Notices what needs to be done and is happy to pitch in without needing detailed direction. * Is dependable, communicative, and looking to build a long-term relationship with one family. * Is CPR/First Aid certified, with excellent references.
