About this nanny job

We’re a warm, active family in Palo Alto looking for a caring, reliable part-time nanny to join our family approximately two weekdays per week, with the possibility of additional hours as our needs grow. Mom will typically be home, and we’re looking for someone who can either engage our energetic toddler in age-appropriate play, outdoor activities, reading, learning, meals, naps, and daily routines, or care for our newborn while Mom spends one-on-one time with our toddler. Responsibilities include preparing simple meals and snacks, diaper changes, bottle feeding as needed, light tidying of toys and children’s dishes, and helping keep play areas organized. We’re looking for someone who is warm, patient, dependable, experienced with both infants and toddlers, CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified), has reliable transportation, is a non-smoker, and is up to date on recommended vaccinations, including Tdap and seasonal flu. We’d love to find someone who feels like an extension of our family, enjoys getting on the floor to play, encourages curiosity and independence, and is interested in building a long-term relationship with our family. Competitive pay based on experience.
