About this nanny job

We’re looking for a warm, reliable afternoon babysitter to help our family with school pick-ups, drop-offs, and after-school logistics starting in the next couple of weeks and running through the school year (breaks off). Schedule: Monday–Thursday, approximately 3–6pm (and until 8pm on Thursdays). Roughly 12–15 hours/week. Exact times can be discussed. Our daughters are 10 and 8 — funny, energetic, and genuinely a joy to spend time with. Afternoons typically involve shuttling between sports practices, music lessons, and other activities, so this role is a mix of driving, waiting, homework help, and general afternoon companionship. What we’re looking for: - Someone who can commit for the full school year — consistency really matters for our girls - Comfortable driving kids to and from activities (your own car preferred; we can provide a vehicle if needed) - Patient, engaged, and reliable — a college or grad student based near Berkeley would be a great fit given our location near campus - Experience with kids in this age range is a plus Pay: $30–40/hour, depending on experience.
