**Part-Time Family Assistant / After-School Helper (Park Slope/Gowanus)** We're looking for a warm, reliable, and proactive Family Assistant / After-School Helper to join our family starting in September. We have one son who will be starting kindergarten this fall, and we're expecting a baby in January. Our hope is to find someone who will become a consistent, trusted part of our family's routine, with the potential for additional hours as our needs grow. **Schedule** * Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday afternoons * Approximately 9 guaranteed hours per week * (Potential for additional hours in the future) **Responsibilities** * Meal prep * Grocery shopping * Light laundry * Household organization * Errands * Light household tasks to help keep our home running smoothly (no deep cleaning) * Walk to pick up our son from school/aftercare and walk him home * Occasionally accompany him to an after-school activity (such as swim lessons) Our home is located in Park Slope/Gowanus, and all pickups are within walking distance, so no car is required. We're looking for someone who: * Has experience with kindergarten-aged children * Is dependable and punctual * Is organized, proactive, and enjoys helping a household run smoothly * Is kind, engaging, and enjoys spending time with young children * Can commit for the school year **Compensation:** $30–35/hour, depending on experience and fit.
