We’re a warm, active family with a young child (2 years, 3 Months) who has a speech developmental delay, but has made great strides and word count wise are almost back on track! We are looking for a nurturing, patient, and experienced caregiver who will support her language growth, social-emotional development, and daily routines through interaction, play, and reading. We value a calm, engaging, and professional caregiver who treats our home as a space for curiosity, fun, and consistent routines. Role: We are seeking a dependable, attentive, and experienced part-time nanny to support our child’s daily routines, with an emphasis on speech, language, and social-emotional development. This role goes beyond supervision—it’s about nurturing growth, safety, and joy. Responsibilities:     •    Supervise, engage, and care for our child in a safe, stimulating environment     •    Support speech and language development by:     ◦    Speaking and singing throughout the day     ◦    Reading books and narrating daily activities     ◦    Using interactive play and role-playing to encourage verbal exchanges     •    Support social-emotional development by teaching feelings and emotions, helping the child label and express them     •    Plan age-appropriate activities and play     •    Take child on walks and to the park for fresh air and exploration     •    Prepare simple meals/snacks and assist with feeding     •    Manage basic routines: diapering, potty support (when we begin potty training) naps     •    Communicate updates, milestones, and any concerns clearly and promptly Requirements:     •    Minimum 2–3 years of professional childcare experience with infants/toddlers     •    Experience supporting speech, developmental delays, or early social-emotional development preferred     •    Strong references from prior families that attest to reliability and care quality     •    CPR/First Aid certification preferred     •    Reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling Why Join Us:     •    Supportive family environment that values your expertise     •    Consistent, predictable schedule with competitive pay     •    Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a child’s development     •    There is no end date, and we are looking for this person to have potential to grow into a full-time position
