About this nanny job

We're looking for someone who will be an active partner in our 8 month old son's development—not just supervise him, but engage with his curiosity through play, reading, outdoor walks, music, library trips, parks, and other age-appropriate activities. We love the Montessori philosophy and would love someone who shares that approach or has experience with it. Responsibilities include: • Engaging in educational, age-appropriate play and activities • Supporting his daily routines, naps, and developmental milestones • Preparing healthy meals and snacks • Washing and sanitizing bottles, pump parts, and feeding supplies (bottle washer provided!) • Baby laundry • Keeping the nursery and play areas tidy and organized • Driving him to activities and classes as he gets older • Preferred: Household chores We're looking for someone who is: • Experienced caring for infants and young children • Warm, proactive, organized, and dependable • Interested in a long-term position • Montessori-minded (or enthusiastic about the approach) • Infant CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) • Up to date on vaccinations • A non-smoker • Has a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and a reliable car • Able to provide excellent references
