Job Title: Part-Time Family Assistant Location: San Francisco, CA Schedule: Mon – Thu, 3:30PM-9:30PM (approx. 20 hours/week) Position Type: Part-Time Job Overview: We are a warm, busy San Francisco family seeking a reliable, patient, positive-minded and emotionally mature individual to support our teenage son and help run our after school household routine. This role is a hybrid of after-school logistics and household support. Role & Responsibilities; - After-School Support & Connection: The role includes driving our son safely to his various after-school activities and sports practices using our family vehicle. - Homework & Organization: When needed, you will help him stay organized with his schoolwork and after-school schedule and offer a supportive hand with homework or school projects. A patient approach that models good time management and gentle encouragement is what we are looking for. - Household Logistics & Meals: To help our evenings run more smoothly, the role includes taking care of grocery shopping, occasional household errands and preparing healthy evening meals for the family. We welcome your culinary input and hope to find someone who enjoys cooking and keeping the kitchen in order. Qualities We Are Looking For: - A Natural Connection with Teens: Someone who is genuinely interested in working with adolescents, bringing a warm and mature presence to our son's daily routine. - Academic or Professional Alignment: A background or current studies in Education, Adolescent Development, Counseling, or a related youth-focused field. - Responsible Driver: A valid California driver’s license and a clean, safe driving record. You do not need your own vehicle; you are welcome to use our family car for all job-related driving. - Dependable & Trustworthy: Someone who is reliable, able to pass a standard background check and provide excellent personal or professional references.
