About this nanny job

We are two families in the Juanita neighborhood of Kirkland looking for a warm, experienced, and reliable full-time nanny for a nanny share caring for two infants (they will be 5 and 6 months old). We are looking for someone who enjoys working with babies and will provide a safe, nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment. Our ideal nanny is dependable, communicates openly and proactively with both families, and values building a long-term relationship based on trust. Requirements: * Fluent in English * Non-smoker/vape-free * Up to date on COVID-19, influenza, and Tdap vaccinations * Infant CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain before starting) * Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record or reliable transportation * At least two professional childcare references * Screen-free during working hours (except for emergencies or childcare-related needs) * Legally authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications: * Previous experience caring for multiple infants or in a nanny share setting * Knowledge of infant development and age-appropriate activities * Comfortable following feeding, nap, and daily routines while adapting as the babies grow * Light baby-related housekeeping, such as washing bottles, tidying play areas, and baby laundry * Reliable transportation and excellent punctuality We are looking for someone who will become an important part of our families—someone who is loving, attentive, safety-focused, and excited to support our babies’ growth and development.
