About this nanny job

We’re looking for a caring, reliable nanny who is comfortable caring for a young infant (currently a little over 1 month old) for daytime care 3–4 days per week. We’re currently on parental leave and will generally be home during care hours, but we’re hoping to use this time to recover, catch up on sleep, etc. We’re looking for someone who can independently take the lead on caring for our baby during their scheduled hours. Responsibilities would include feeding and burping, diaper changes, soothing, naps, and age-appropriate interaction such as tummy time. We’d also appreciate light baby-related cleanup, including washing bottles and occasional baby laundry. We have a washer and dryer in the house. This is a temporary position during our parental leave. Care will take place entirely in our home, so no driving or transportation of the baby is needed. We do not have any pets. We’re primarily looking for someone who is comfortable and experienced with newborns/young infants. Schedule: 3–4 weekdays per week, approximately 8AM-5PM, open to discussing which days.
