Job Posting: Nanny for 1-Year-Old (Kennett Square, PA) — Required Household Policies Included About our family We’re looking for a reliable, nurturing nanny for our 1-year-old son, in Kennett Square. Our son is very shy and may take a long time to warm up and eat, so we’re seeking someone patient, calm, and confident with infant care. We need someone who is clean, organized, and routine-driven We’re looking for a nanny who consistently maintains a clean and organized home environment and follows our daily routine closely from start to finish. Key responsibilities Provide attentive infant care** Diapering, hygiene, feeding support (as directed), and age-appropriate play Follow our routines for naps, play, and daily care Engage and supervise our son** Age-appropriate activities and careful supervision at all times Keep our son safe in designated areas Support routine and consistency** Follow the family’s schedule consistently (meals, naps, transitions, etc.) Use gentle reassurance and a steady approach, especially during meals Clean, organized environment + baby-related chores** Maintain a clean environment focused on the baby's s care and routine Baby bottle washing and related bottle prep/cleanup Light cleanup/tidying related to childcare Light meal prep (time permitting, if applicable)** Occasional light meal prep may be needed if time allows and as directed Support outings (if needed)** Change clothes upon returning home when going out (per policy below) Required qualifications CPR certified** Own car / reliable transportation** College degree** Experience caring for infants/toddlers (references preferred) Hours 9am-5pm, M-F. Must follow HH rules. Pay range $16-25 an hour, depending on canidate fit & experience.
