About this nanny job

We’re looking for a warm, reliable, and proactive nanny/mother’s helper to help us manage the day-to-day chaos of having two little ones under 2. This is a hands-on role working alongside a parent, rather than a traditional nanny position where you’d be solely responsible for both children. We’re looking for someone who can jump in and help with whichever child needs attention at the moment. For example: * Soothe or hold the baby while I play with, feed, or attend to the toddler * Play with the toddler while I nurse/feed or put the baby down for a nap * Hold/entertain the baby while I handle the toddler’s meals, diaper, bath, etc. * Help with transitions, getting everyone dressed, and general toddler/baby wrangling * Occasionally take one child out of the house independently for a walk, playground trip, or other nearby activity * Help keep the children’s areas tidy and clean up after the kids This is a great fit for someone who enjoys babies and toddlers and likes the dynamic of working as part of a team with a parent. We’re specifically looking for someone comfortable working alongside a parent. You will generally not be responsible for both children at once—the goal is to have an extra set of hands so that one adult can focus on one child while the other adult handles the other.
