Reliable, Experienced Babysitter Needed for 5-Year-Old — Occasional Evenings & Weekends I’m a mom relocating to Boston with my 5-year-old son and starting an MBA program. I’m looking for a warm, responsible, and dependable babysitter who can become a trusted part of our childcare support system. My childcare needs will primarily be occasional weekday evenings and weekend evenings, with advance notice whenever possible. I will sometimes need childcare while attending MBA events, networking events, recruiting/career events, and occasional social plans. I’m looking for someone who is interested in an ongoing relationship with our family rather than only a one-time sitting. My ideal sitter would be someone I can reach out to regularly when school, career, or personal commitments come up. Typical responsibilities: * Engaging with my son through age-appropriate play and activities * Preparing simple meals/snacks * Helping with homework or reading when needed * Bath/bedtime routine when sitting in the evening * Keeping him safe, comfortable, and entertained * Light cleanup related to childcare * Communicating with me about how the evening went My son is 5 (turning 6 soon), friendly, curious, and active. I’m looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and can provide a fun, calm, and nurturing environment :) Ideal candidate: * Previous experience caring for children around his age * Reliable and punctual * Warm, patient, and engaging * Comfortable with evening and occasional weekend care * Strong references * CPR/First Aid certified preferred * Background check preferred * Comfortable committing to occasional ongoing babysitting rather than only one-time jobs I’m hoping to find someone I can get to know and trust over time and potentially use as one of my primary babysitters in Boston. Please include your experience with children around this age, your typical availability, hourly rate, and whether you have CPR/First Aid certification.
