We're a young family in the Littleton area looking for a warm, reliable person to help keep our home running a few afternoons a week. Both of us work demanding jobs, so we need someone we can count on to take great care of our two kids and keep things on track while we're heads down. The kids are the heart of the job. Our daughter is 10, full of energy, endlessly social, and lights up around people. Our son is 6, the family comedian, happiest playing sports with the neighborhood crew, and occasionally a little too fond of his screen time. You'd handle afternoon care, keeping the two of them happy, fed, and moving, with pickups, homework help, and getting them outside as part of the mix. We're looking at roughly 3 to 4 days a week, usually 1:00 to 5:00 or 2:00 to 6:00 on weekdays. We're flexible and glad to build a schedule that works for both of us, with room for occasional weekend hours if that interests you. The other big need is the weeknight dinner scramble. If you love to cook and can get a good meal on the table, you'll be an instant hero around here. The role also includes light cleaning, laundry, and helping keep the household organized. A reliable car of your own is a must, since there's some running around with the kids and we will occaisionally both be working late. We live in a quiet neighborhood that's full of kids and about as safe and easy as it gets for this kind of work, with kids roaming between houses and raiding each other's snack drawers all afternoon. We're genuinely laid back and easy to work with, but we take finding the right person seriously. We want someone dependable who takes pride in their work and clicks with our family.
