About this nanny job

We're looking for a part-time after-school nanny for our three kids (ages 7, 5, and almost 3) starting September 10th. Hours would be Monday-Friday, 2:30-6:30pm. We live in Prospect Heights, just two blocks from our kids' elementary school. We'd love someone who enjoys hanging out with kids - it'll be a lot of picking them up, spending afternoons outside — playgrounds, walks, neighborhood adventures, activities — before heading back to our apartment until we get home from work in the evening. Our kids love being outside and playing! We're looking for someone who is: • Warm, energetic, and dependable • Comfortable managing three kids of different ages (2nd grade, 1st grade, and 3K) • Creative and enjoys planning engaging or low-key afternoons with kids, depending on the day • Comfortable navigating Brooklyn on foot and by public transit with kids • A strong communicator Experience with school-age children (and ideally multiple kids at once) is preferred. CPR certification is a plus. We're targeting $32/hr. The kids all get picked up from the same school, but a couple of days a week the older kids will have soccer practice or enrichment activities that might mean different pickup schedules.
