About this nanny job
We’re looking for a kind, reliable, and experienced nanny to care for our 4-month-old baby boy in our home 1–2 days per week, on Thursdays and/or Fridays, while I’m at work. Care would typically be needed from 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, although some days may end earlier depending on when I’m able to come home. Our start date is flexible but will be sometime this month. Our baby is sweet, curious, and loves interaction and being talked to. We’re looking for someone who is patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoys caring for infants. Responsibilities would mainly include feeding bottles of breast milk, diaper changes, naps, tummy time, age-appropriate play and interaction, and keeping him comfortable and engaged throughout the day. Because he is still very young, we are specifically looking for someone with previous experience caring for young infants, preferably babies under 6 months old. Infant CPR and First Aid certification are required, along with reliable references. We are also looking for someone who: * Is a non-smoker/non-vaper * Has reliable transportation to and from our home * Is comfortable following our feeding, sleep, and safe-sleep routines * Communicates well and can provide occasional updates throughout the day * Will always ask for our permission before taking the baby on any outings or leaving our home with him This position is focused entirely on caring for our baby. We are not looking for housekeeping or additional household duties, and we are a pet-free home. Our goal is to find someone we feel completely comfortable with and can hopefully build a trusting, long-term relationship with.
