About this nanny job

We are looking for a flexible, dependable, and energic caregiver to watch our 3 kids part-time in West Torrance. We have a very unique schedule, as a firefighter and a healthcare employee, therefore our schedules change weekly. We typically need childcare for one 14-hour day (6a-8pm) per week, and I could tell you those days at least one month in advance, if you needed to schedule other jobs around it. We sometimes have a 6a-2pm day in addition, and sometimes need random daytime help or coverage for a date night. We have 3 kids, two of whom will usually be in school Mon-Fri. Our three year old will have three half-days of preschool. Your duties would include morning wakeups, breakfast and cleanup, and school drop off. Then time with the 3 year old, lunch, school pickups and nap routines. Homework help for Kinder and 2nd grade will be needed, and the evenings will likely involve bringing all 3 outside to play at a park, or to a practice of some sort. Then dinner, baths, and cleanup before being relieved by me after work. Typically I handle bedtime routine! This position has worked beautifully in the past for a mom that has school aged kids and wants to pick up extra income. But of course we welcome all applicants!
