We’re looking for a kind, reliable nanny to join our family beginning September 8, 2026. Schedule: Our preferred schedule is approximately 25 hours/week during the school year, although we have some flexibility for the right person: * Monday: 7:00am–2:00pm * Tuesday–Thursday: 11:00am–5:00pm The Role: This is a mix of childcare and household support, depending on what’s needed that day. Most of the childcare will be with one of our two kids, with occasional times caring for both. Responsibilities will include school pickup, spending time with the kids after school, and helping with after-school activities and transportation. When not providing childcare, we’re looking for help keeping the household running smoothly, including: * Laundry, including washing and folding * Light tidying and organization * Grocery shopping and errands * Preparing one family meal each week * General meal prep, including making snacks, prepping vegetables for the week, warming/finishing meals, and helping get dinner ready We have a housekeeper who handles the heavy cleaning, so this is not a deep-cleaning role. We are looking for help with day-to-day tidying and maintaining the home between regular housekeeper visits. We’re looking for someone dependable and proactive who is comfortable pivoting between childcare and household support based on what the family needs. Schedule Throughout the Year: There may be opportunities for additional hours from December through early April. During the summer, we’re out of town quite a bit, so hours will be fewer and less consistent, although we expect to still need some help. We’ll work out the summer schedule together closer to that time.
