About this nanny job

We are looking for a family assistant / house manager to support our family during the week. The role is Monday - Thursday 2-6p, with slight flexibility for earlier / later times. This person acts as an extra set of hands supporting two working parents and our kids who are 8 and almost 5. Responsibilities include helping with household chores including loading and unloading the dishwasher, taking out the trash and trashbins, doing the family’s laundry, putting away clothes, general tidying around the house and food prep and cooking. It also requires pickup from school or after school activities. On occasion, it might involve childcare without a parent present but that is not the main focus of the role. We live in Glen Park and there is plenty of street parking. The ideal candidate has their own car with a clean driving record, is a self starter, organized, detail oriented and likes being helpful around the house.
