Description Busy family is seeking a caring, energetic, and sharp-minded person to assist with busy home life. We have two boys: 5 yrs old and 10 yrs old. Childcare Duties • Mon – Thu, 3:30-7:30 pm: Will be picking up the boys, taking them to activities, and bringing them home to provide dinner and get them ready for bed. • Fri -, 1:30-5:30 pm: Start by helping with groceries and other errands before leaving to pick up the boys at 3:45pm (pick-up 1) and 4:30pm (pick-up 2) and then getting them ready for the evening. • Key activities include: ◦ Prepping dinner for the kids (simple kid-friendly meals) ◦ Assisting our 4th grader with assigned learning work as needed; assisting our younger son with learning during play time ◦ Nighttime prep: bath + pajamas for our younger son, supervising our 4th grader’s prep for bedtime ◦ Taking the 5-year old to Swim classes at Aqua-tots twice a week (Mon, Wed), which will involve picking him up from Pre-K, taking him to swim class, getting him changed, showering and changing him at that location, and then bringing him home. You do not get in the water - this is poolside supervision only. Household Assistant Duties • Kids’ laundry + household linens - if time permits • Loading + unloading dishwasher, handwashing large items • Tidying the playroom, kitchen, and other areas used with the kids • Grocery planning and shopping Core Requirements • Must pass background check • Valid & clean driving record, and your own reliable vehicle that can accommodate a car seat • Good hygiene habits, non-smoker • Physically agile (able to climb stairs, lift a child into a car, etc.) • Tech-savvy Ideal Candidate • Can communicate openly, effectively, and proactively about opportunities for improvements • Considerate, punctual, professional, and detail oriented • Present & engaged: you enjoy what you do, enjoy children, and are fully present when working. You aren’t multi-tasking with external demands, using your phone, etc. What To Expect In The Application Process 1. Initial application 2.
