About this nanny job

I'm looking for a warm, experienced, reliable caregiver for my two children, ages 9 and 6.5, every other Sunday from 5:00–9:30pm. I'm a working single parent, and I'm hoping to find someone who can really take over the Sunday evening routine so I can get some much-needed personal time and exercise before the work week starts. I'm looking for someone who is nurturing and great with kids, but also proactive and capable of managing the evening independently. The goal is for you to come in and say, “I've got it!” Responsibilities would include: - Serving dinner (I may have dinner prepared already — no elaborate cooking needed) - Cleaning up after dinner - Helping the kids pack their backpacks and get ready for Monday - Preparing their lunches for the next day using food already in the house - Folding/putting away kids' laundry and light tidying of their spaces - Shower, pajamas, reading and the full bedtime routine through about 9:30pm I'd love someone with substantial childcare experience — a nanny, family assistant, teacher, childcare professional, or someone with significant long-term experience with children. I'm hoping to find someone who can become a familiar, trusted part of our routine and make Sunday evenings feel a little easier for everyone. There may also be opportunities for occasional Saturday evenings or weeknight help, with shorter shifts and similar childcare/household support.
