About this nanny job

We're looking for a part-time after-school nanny/babysitter for our two boys (ages 4 and 7), starting in September. Schedule: Ideally Monday-Friday, 3:00-6:00 or 7:00 p.m., but we're flexible on the number of afternoons per week and are primarily looking for the right person. Occasional evening babysitting and availability on school holidays are a big plus. Our younger son needs to be picked up near Grand Army Plaza at 3:00 p.m. We'd love someone who enjoys spending afternoons at the library, playgrounds, on neighborhood adventures, or arranging playdates rather than staying at home (both parents work from home). Around 5:00 p.m., our older son would be picked up from his school in Prospect Heights (or occasionally another after-school activity), followed by dinner at home, which we'll prepare. We're looking for someone who is: Warm, energetic, and dependable Creative and enjoys planning engaging or low-key afternoons with kids, depending on the day Comfortable navigating Brooklyn on foot and by public transit A strong communicator Snack-oriented and happy to help with occasional homework support for the 7 year old Experience with school-age children is preferred. CPR certification is a plus.
