We’re looking for a warm, reliable, and engaging **part-time nanny** to care for our 4-year-old son after school during the week. I work from home so I will be present but the need is for him to be engaged until my work day is complete. **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, approximately **2:30 PM–5:30 PM** **Responsibilities include:** * Picking him up from school at 3:20 PM ( arrive at school for pickup at 2:55pm and wait for dismissal) * Providing an afternoon snack * Giving him time to decompress after school * Engaging in play, outdoor activities, and creative activities * Reading, age-appropriate learning activities, worksheets, and school assignments as needed * Creating a fun, structured, and nurturing afternoon routine * Helping with cleanup and transitioning him back to us around 5:30 PM We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and can strike a good balance between **fun, play, learning, and routine**. We do not want his afternoons to feel like a second school day—he should have plenty of time to play, move, and just be a kid. **Ideal candidate:** * Has experience caring for preschool-aged children * Is reliable, punctual, and comfortable with school pickup * Has reliable transportation and a clean driving record * Is engaging, patient, and energetic * Can provide references * CPR/First Aid certification is a plus We’re hoping to find someone who can become a **consistent part of our family’s routine**, rather than someone looking for occasional babysitting hours.
