About this nanny job
Hello, we are looking for someone to watch our two children afterschool on Wednesdays and Thursdays plus occasional extra days. Our daughter, Piper, is 12 and entering 7th grade, and our son, Leo, is 9 and entering 4th grade. The school they attend is just a short 10 minute walk from our home in Brooklyn Heights. Piper loves art, music and reading and Leo loves reading, Legos and cooking! We are looking for someone who can pick them up afterschool and bring them home. They both will have some tutoring afterschool on Wednesday and Thursday so we'll want you to hang out with one of them while the other does their tutoring and then with both of them when the tutoring is done. We will also want you to prepare and feed them dinner both Wednesday and Thursday evening. We will also have occasional other days of the week where we might ask for your help afterschool if you are available or on a day when they have off from school. This is not a a requirement just an opportunity for extra hours. We are also looking for someone who would be open to doing overnights with them 2 times a year so that my husband and I can take short trips. This would be like a Wednesday - Friday ask or a Friday-Sunday ask. For overnights, we would pay $450 flat rate per a 24 hour period. We don't allow screen time (except for Duolingo) during the week so we are looking for someone really willing to play and engage our children creatively. - Caitlin + Roy (Piper + Leo's parents)Nanny job details
